CPCI™ Cleaning Validation Coupons
The update to Annex 15 (Section 1.12) now requires recovery studies from all product contact materials in the equipment, and with all the sampling methods used. CPCI™'s internal research work and our projects for clients require many coupons made from many different Materials of Construction (MoC). These coupons are needed for Cleanability studies, Swab and Rinse Recovery studies and to create sets of Visual Inspection Coupons for qualification of inspectors and operators following ASTM E3263.
Since high quality, re-useable coupons from many MoCs are not readily available, CPCI™ has had to manufacture all the coupons we need by ourselves. Now, as a service to industry, and to help defray the cost of manufacturing these coupons, CPCI™ is offering them for sale. CPCI™ Lab has a full machine shop in-house (drill press, band saws, grinders and polishers) including a Laser Cutter for cutting and engraving coupons. CPCI™ Lab also has three 3D Printers for printing the storage boxes for protecting our coupons from contamination and damage. CPCI™ makes all coupons in accordance with the ASTM G121 "Standard Practice for Preparation of Contaminated Test Coupons for the Evaluation of Cleaning Agents".

All CPCI™ Coupons are engraved with (A) the Material of Construction, (B) the month and year of manufacture, (C) a unique number identifier for each coupon, (D) our CPCI™ website identifying us as the manufacturer and (E) a 5 cm by 5 cm inscribed test area.
CPCI™ provides a Material Certificate of Conformance for all of its coupons.
CPCI™ also cleans and passivates all Stainless Steel coupons following the ASTM A967-A967M Standard and all Stainless Steel coupons come with a certificate of passivation.
